"As a leading innovator in the field, we at SOG pride ourselves on using the finest machinery and tools that can be found. The Dozier Grinder is the Cadillac of grinders. It is a precision piece of equipment that you can depend on for day in day out production and repeatability. It is the most convenient grinder that we have seen for the changing and tracking of belts.
Everything is machined square and parallel. We give it a 10!"

"In reference to the DOZIER GRINDER, it's the most powerful, smoothest running, and quiet piece of equipment I (have) ever used. I would recommend it to anyone, and I've had them all."
D'Alton Holder
Past President, Knifemakers' Guild

In 1971 Bob Dozier came to work in the A.G. Russell shop and I watched as he rebuilt much of the old equipment which I had acquired with the purchase of the Morseth shop. In 1989 Bob came back to Springdale to work in the A.G. Russell shop and again I watched as he rebuilt equipment to do each job more efficiently. He seemed to never be content with the grinder he was working with, but kept saying to me "If I could make a grinder that would track better, and would control the belt tension I could belt the knives and cut hand sanding down to almost nothing. This would allow me to increase production." Bob "rebuilt" equipment in the Morseth shop (It soon became more "Bob Dozier Built" equipment than it was original), then it was rebuilding the equipment he had built new. This whole process has led to this grinder.
Today there are no other grinders in the Morseth Shop, only these Dozier Grinders."

"We have purchased three Dozier grinders this year and have found them to be extremely versatile. Changes in wheel/paper setups are quick and efficient. Also, our productivity has improved due to our ability to place the piece to be sanded in a more favorable work position.
Dozier grinders have increased our grinding/sanding capabilities and as our need increases, our intentions are to purchase additional machines."
Bob Breton, Plant manager
Ontario Knife Company, Queen Cutlery Company

"During more than thirty years of making and designing cutlery products, I have used many types of grinders. I currently have four operational units in my shop from which to choose depending on the job at hand. I almost always select the grinder which I bought from Bob Dozier. This is undoubtedly the most convenient and efficient piece of equipment in my shop. My last 4 patented knife and tools designs were put into production quicker and easier because Bob knows what a knifemaker needs and has been able to make it available to other knifemakers at a reasonable price. Bob's grinder is a superior product."

"The best and most adaptable grinder on the market, it is really trouble-free. If you can only have one grinder, this is the one."
Al Pendray, Master Bladesmith ABS
President, The Knifemakers Guild
