The show has come and gone... until the next NYCK show upcoming in February!
Seems like attendance was a bit lower this time around. And with a slightly smaller percentage of exhibitors/ makers. But for Dozier Knives, it was a success. A majority of all folders were sold- with emphasis on natural material handles such as cocobolo/ desert ironwoods, stag, ivory and wooly mammoth! There were a good choice of the recently unseen Trapper models on hand. Including a few with a variation grind- an added swedge. Of most interest in my eyes was the new model no name (yet) folder with a wide wharnie style blade. See the pic EBossHoss posted recently. My own plain jane black micarta handled model is feeling real good in my hands now.
Strait knives, well... Arkansas Toothpicks, Delta Travellers, Arkansas Travellers, Columbia River Hunters, Wilderness, Canoes, Personal Wharncliffes- most or all of them gone.
Various colored (tan, OD, black, orange!) zytel handled KaBar Folding Hunters and mini Folding Hunters (with debutting blackened blades!) and Lockback models- all gone!
And of course, the Dozier team is always glad to see familiar and new faces at our tables. Ebbtide, doggiecareman, cryofreeze (and Mrs. freeze??

), kublai, double AA, secretagentman, et al. Thanks all for coming by!
