This is my buddy BillG's new Dozier folder. An ivory micarta slipjoint. This folder is about the same size as the large folding hunter, yet it is suprisingly light weight, comfortable in hand, and all around a great piece of work(duh). Unfortunatley the pictures dont do the handle scales justice. Included are comparision shots with my large folding hunter and with Bill's small(well used)folding hunter in brown canvas micarta.

Im not gonna lie, im a bit jealous :lol:

Changed my opinion of slip joints for sure. A great knife. Its a big boy too but lighter than my large folding hunters.

Guess im on the hunt for a Dozier slip joint :wink:

Agreed! I'd gotten very use to liner locks it was nice to handle a high end slip joint. Classic pocket knife design. It makes you more aware of opening and closing as you have to use both hands for those task as opposed to a simple flick of the thumb. I like both designs ...what a shock :shock:
