New addition to my Dozier folder family. The stag provides a great natural grip. Its an original size folding hunter with a good three inch blade, perfect for edc. Not much bigger than the small size folding hunter, but still a dwarf compared to the large size folding hunter.

Wow - what a beautiful acquisition RR. Congratulations on a spectacular addition.

Gonna make a folder guy out of me yet...

Great pic's too. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Z. I'm not digging the comparison shots as much as I am the other photos. Its amazing how much natural sunlight in a room with big windows aids in better photographs as opposed to the pics taken at night with a flash setting in a dark room. So, expect better comparison pics soon

I know folders are more of an investment, but I like them so much I've severely cut my fixed blades down to one. I just can't fathom getting rid of the good ole Traveler!

Now that I can't fund my knives with other knives don't expect a new folder from me anytime soon. (atleast a few months)

I use two of my Coleman gas lanterns for lighting. They produce a lot of warm light and you can move them around to reduce reflections off the knives. It works pretty good for me, but my wife isn't too happy when I set this "junk show" up on her kitchen table

Haha yea I hear ya. When I took my folder family photos on the dining room table my girl raised an eyebrow or two, even my kid gave me a "what the hell are you doing" look and he's one and a half!

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try it. Just from looking at the pics I posted the contrast in "photo sessions" is literally night and day.

I really want to put up better contrast photos as I find the size difference interesting. Im lucky and grateful to be able to own the knives to compare and have people here interested enough to look at em! :D

Speaking for myself, I'm grateful to have your pictures to refer to, especially the comparison shots. "Interested" is an understatement

Think you could add your AT into some of the folder group photo's? The AT would provide a reference to compare the size of the folders against.

For those of us that haven't experienced any folders - yet :D

Arkansas Traveler with small folding hunter, original size folding hunter, large folding hunter, and pro skinner. Also two group shots just for fun. Quality isn't the best, my apologies.

Haha yes indian I am a nut. 5 is a reasonable number, don't you think?

There's a nice little walrus ivory folder I've been eyeing, but no, now is the time for restraint

You make a good point. Your like the knife devil on my shoulder saying "oh just one more"

If we ever make a Dozier knife show at the same time I feel bad for those looking to purchase. Between you and I the Dozier crew wont be going home with any stock.

Thank you for your kind words on my folders. Much appreciated.

Sweet! Thanks RR - the comparison shots are really helpful. They give the viewer a clear understanding of the size of the different folders.

Indian won't be the only one on the look out now :D

Glad to have been of help. It also gave me a good reason to break out all my folders. Any particular size your thinking of? Notice the small folding hunter is almost like the traveler in size?

What handle material and model would be your ideal first Dozier folder? ...you got me on a roll Z
